WVU Medicine seeks a board certified/board eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join the faculty practice in Elkins, WV at the rank of Instructor, with the option to be an Independent Contractor. Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program by the time of appointment. The emergency department at Davis Memorial sees approximately 29,000 visits per year with a combination of double coverage ED physician as well as advanced practice provider coverage. Planning is currently underway for a new emergency department.
